We launch our 2025 Plaza movie specials with arguably the best Sci-Fi Action Double Bill in cinema history, Plaza 80s & 90s Presents The Terminator and Terminator 2 : Judgment Day on Saturday 1st February 2025.
The Terminator (15)
The Terminator is a 1984 American science fiction action film directed by James Cameron, written by Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd and produced by Hurd. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, a cybernetic assassin sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), whose unborn son will one day save mankind from extinction by Skynet, a hostile artificial intelligence in a post-apocalyptic future.
Terminator 2: Judgment Day (15)
Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a 1991 American science fiction action film directed by James Cameron, who co-wrote the script with William Wisher. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Linda Hamilton and Robert Patrick. In the film, the malevolent artificial intelligence Skynet sends a Terminator—a highly advanced killing machine—back in time to 1995 to kill the future leader of the human resistance John Connor when he is a child. The resistance sends back a less advanced, reprogrammed Terminator to protect Connor and ensure the future of humanity.
Tickets are only £10 for two classic sci-fi action films from the 1980s and 1990s on the big screen with DJ Nick Gartland on support.
